megabien producer Rene Tinner prepares the new album of German singer/songwriter, actress and lyricist Bettina Köster near Naples, Italy.

Köster is a multi-talented artist who gained international recognition in the early 80's when she performed with her band MalariaMalaria at studio54 and the Mudd Club in New York. Malaria toured with Siouxsie and the Banshees and The Birthday Party among others. As a lyricist Köster influenced succeeding girl Bands, such as Chicks on Speed, who released a cover version of Malaria's 1981 Hit "Kaltes Klares Wasser". In the Playboy Magazine January 1985 "The Girls of Rock 'n' Roll", she is featured as a model together with Grace Jones, Tina Turner, Pat Benatar and Diana Ross.

On the picture, Rene is shown with Bettina (left) and international renowned photographer Christine Hahn who's work can be seen in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and other museums all over the world. Hahn has a history of collaborative performance, music, print, and photo projects with artists Martin Kippenberger, Barbara Ess, Glenn Branca, Paul McMahon, Kim Gordon, Gudrun Gut, and Klaus Kruger, among others. She has been working primarily as a solo artist since the late 1980s.
